| VAIL | Anywhere in the back bowls. Sad to hear the panty-tree is going. |
| Snowmass | Big mountain, good alternative to the smaller and more expensive Aspen. |
| Beaver Creek | Birds of prey rule. I always check out Beaver Creek when it gets too busy at Vail. |
| Keystone | With night skiing, this has to be the way. Get there at 10.30 (after the rush). Break for lunch at 14:30 (after the rush). Ski into the night, leave at 20:30 (after the rush). |
| Winterpark | Yahoo, empty midweek. Take the snow train. Eat, drink and be merry. |
| Breckenridge | Trails filtering into valleys that meet more trails ending in long lift queues. Not a favorite. |
| Copper | Lots of fun. Became partially paralysed after last vist though. (Much better now). |
| Taos | 11,000 feet up stops you running around in a hurry. Great mountain. Can't wait to go back there. |
| Santa Fe | Yes, you can ski Santa Fe. And the parties back in town are legendary. |
| Stowe | Cold! |
| Piko | Even colder! 25 below on Christmas day. Huge runs at the limit of control! |
| Smugglers Notch | Cold! |
