Monday, April 28, 2007. Troy "Tulo" Tulowitzky's batting average it too low, giving the impression that the difference between the 21-1 Rockies and this team that has lost 8 of their last nine, is the performance of the overpaid, egotistical shortstop. Such is not the case. The Rockies are performing nearly exactly as they did last year. In fact, before last night's loss to the hapless Giants, Colorado's record was identical to last year's mark at same stage of the season. So, the 4-0 loss should mean little to fans who can just blow off most of the season and wait for the Rockies to have a historic run at the end of the season to overcome an impossible deficit again in 2008. No problem.
